no, his problem is that he has an error so the .sys isn't generated.

Isn't it the folder name? Change it from 'Cheat Engine' to 'WhateverEngine'.

Notice the space between Cheat and Engine. Don't put a space when you change it to whateverengine.

no, he runs it in d:\cheate~1\dbkker~1\ , it contains no space

there is just a compile error in dbkdrvr.c and thus won't link.
read the .log file
