Cheat Engine

After I replace with a random name...I click "stop" then "close", but when I try to change the value, I get a address violation =/

Why is that happening?:

Are you running on Windows Vista ?

Yeah what Slugsnack said. If you're running Vista you must do the program compatibility thing and make it run like its in Windows XP. Right click>properties>click third tab>tick first box, make it say Windows XP.

Is there any other problem with CM/Vista? Or just the one with "variable address"?

well, the inability to use the processwatcher and kernel debugger, and in 64-bit complete inability to use anything in settings->extra

but besides that not much. If you run as admin it should work
also, in vista speedhack won't work

Put it on compatibility mode for XP
