we both will if we keep replying to each other lol

oh and forgot to say visual basic is a high level programming language,

there are lots of tuts on it here Arrow http://www.imt.net/~joe/matt/program/vb/Tutorials/

not into vb myself so cannot help you personally with it but in the general programing section you might find some, a lot of folks there dont like it but a few do, so you might get a light grilling of a couple of them

Confused Higher level language doesn't mean it's better! Assembly is powerful and it's a low level language! C and Delphi are considered high-level because they are closer to human languages and further from machine languages. High level languages are easier to read and to write. Visual Basic is a high level language.

Nope...
its not considered high lvl if its close to human language, its the difficulty of the language and what u can do with it
VB is closest to human language of all the popular langs.
it is not a high lvl language, I bet u dont even know it...
i wouldnt consider ASM low lvl, VB is NOT better than ASM

fck sake if u want machine language Rolling Eyes
learn binary 0010101000111010010101, c++/asm/VB looks like that to the computer but for us its made simpler... the computer reads the commands as 0s and 1s, each sign is made of 0s and 1s like
open could be 00101 and so on
ur a complete idiot

no matter how the lang. looks the the naked eye, the machine reads it as 0s and 1s -___-"

christ I was just pointing the guy in the direction of vb tutorials

by a high level language I meant easier to use than the low level nuts and bolts assembley language,

the C languages are a good basis for learning low level assembley languages because it uses simular formats structures loops, ect

with high level language you dont tend to mess with flags and registers on a daily basis,, for the explantion or high/low level just use google instead of arguing about it ..

here look through this lot and you will see what is meant by high level languages http://www.google.com/search?q=high+level+language&ie=UTF-8
