Summary0000215: CE 6.2: Old structures are not dropped on opening a second table
DescriptionI think I may have reported this already - can find it so I am not sure.
I apologize if it's a dupe.

So, when you open a table in CE, it reads all data just fine.
When you open another table, CE asks you if you want to merge the tables.
When you say 'no', CE retains the structures anyway, often resulting in duplicate structures in the table.
I marked it as trivial because I think it's just a matter of a ->Destroy() call (without knowing how and where the tables are loaded).
