I have the latest BETA build installed by mr.inz etc... (CORRECTED NAME)
When I run my DS3 Table POINTERS show ?? until I manually OPEN the address editor and then click ok . Then pointer updates .
Can this be fixed?

Sorry I meant your name but I cant remember it sorry.
Almost all pointers wont update - Health ETC...stuff that seems to CHANGE.

I dont know Why this happens. I tried saving table after FORCING them to update - now when I load game they wont update until I click them and then DO NOT CHANGE ADDRESS just press OK. I tried with SETTINGS reset to no avail.

EDIT

Reverted back to 6.6 BASE non beta and IT WORKS FINE THERE.
So this is a bug!

What is this XA ? How often it is updated?

If it is a symbol, you have an option. Right click it (when "change address" window visible) and choose the update method.


I recommend second option: "Only update the offset after a specific amount of time" and set to 100 milliseconds.


If this symbol is your "user registered" symbol, try changing the name to something different, maybe "myMagicOffset".

Hello I did REVERTED cheat engine to 6.6 ORIGINAL!
So there ALL WORKS fine so this confirms its a problem with the latest builds of the program.

Try the latest Dark Souls 3 table in fearlessrevolution I think page 17 or somewhere there. Click open on the table options to allow pointers to update.
Go to Hero and then Base Stats. See pointers will not work until you click EDIT address and then click OK.

So, you didn't try "Only update the offset after a specific amount of time". OK. Let me check this. Give me a while.

Confirmed. It doesn't update when user symbol is used as special offset.
Lua variables works good as special offset.

Edit:
Tried my few custom builds. This bug must came in commit between 16 Dec 2016 and 20 Jan 2017. Still looking which commit cause it.

Good work my friend.
Since my GPU fried while I was working on DS3 I though pointers do not work since I use old GPU I thought they use some address stored in GPU memory as a Base... but now I realized I was wrong.
Good find. Hope soon to see it fixed Smile

You can fix it by adding this at line 94 in "Open" script.
XA=value

Or wait for next beta.
