Thanks, ParkourPenguin!

Don't be mad (haha), but is this supposed to happen:

EDIT:
mgr.inz.Player-
Your script is working as it should. Thank you!

Erm... no? Maybe? I tested it on Windows 7 and didn't get that confirmation dialogue.

If you ignore all the Lua code, it pretty much comes down to executing this command:
Code:
forfiles /p "%CE Scanfiles Directory%" /d -1 /c "cmd /c del @path"

I'm sure there are other ways of doing it. For example, directly using the Windows API.

Thanks, ParkourPenguin.

I am also testing on Windows 7 64-bit.

I have tried setting CE to run as administrator, wondering if that would elevate privileges somehow, but that did not work. Folder and sub-folder permissions and ownership all check out.

Only after changing my temporary directory to a folder on my primary drive, did this work as it should. Unfortunately, that will not work for me because I am running a smaller capacity SSD for my primary drive.

I suppose, if no workarounds are available, I will continue using mgr.inz.Player's script. I would rather use the more straightforward method that you have posted as it would presumably have less chance of breaking during future updates. However, having to manually select 'yes' for every folder inside the temp folder will ultimately defeat the purpose.

Thank you all for your help.

My Google-fu instincts just now kicked in. Try using "cmd /c del /F /Q @path" instead.
