Are you one of those game 'photographers' who take snaps on the move, thus the need to have it move/attack? Else, I really don't see the point, as people use swapper to level up/get unique items. So, yeah, just kill it.
You'll have to ask TehnoJacker if still keen on it.

If deleting a post is not allowed, I apologize. I had no idea. There is a delete button on the screen. I reasoned that it is there because it is intended to be used when one wishes to delete his post. Am I missing something?

He only deleted his first post. Not yours, STN.

Deleting the original post after someone has replied should not be allowed, because it leaves the forum broken and is confusing for future readers. The thread essentially becomes worthless in most cases. It's also annoying because people take the time to respond to your thread and you basically tell them 'meh, whatever'.
It's becoming more and more common lately. If DB doesn't care, then that is certainly his call. Either this will keep on happening, or, DB will revoke those privileges. If nothing changes, people may start quoting entire posts unnecessarily and the forum will look like puke, with excess text and missing posts and ramblings of regulars complaining about it.

++METHOS,
Seems reasonable to me. In this case, I explored the forums more thoroughly and found a giant thread on BL2 modding and figured I'd post the question there. And, figured I should delete this one. The post was deleted, but left all replies in place.
This does seem strange to me. I assumed deleting my post would also delete any replies. This will likely confuse the future reader.
Nonetheless, I do sincerely apologize for having done this, if it has caused any trouble.

You are forgiven.
In all seriousness, it's better that the entire thread is not deleted because other people might get upset that their posts were removed and also because the responses might be helpful for future readers...which is why removal of OP should not be allowed after someone has replied. Removal of threads should be at the discretion of admin/moderator team unless the thread has yielded no replies, in my opinion.
