Maybe I am doing it wrong? Here is what I do. Let us take the game Enter the Gungeon for example.
I find the money value. 4 bytes. Now I can change it.
So I attach a process and find out what accesses this address. Get more money and then I get a few hits.
Get my "The value of his pointer is most likely" 34C02E88 +1C
Search HEX for 34C02E88 comes out with 1 result. Address 34D2C968
(this isn't always the case, a lot of times I get multiple hits, which just confuse me how to find the right one)
Now I make my pointer.
1C over 34D2C968. It comes out with the right value.
The thing is though, the address was never green, so it can't be a static.
Attach a process for the pointer, and I get 130 hits! None of them green. Is there any way to figure out which is the one I want? A lot of guides say "just pick the first one" but that seems to lead to nowhere, or worse crashes)
Maybe I just don't understand what I should be doing...
