How do I cheat?

I've seen this done with a couple games, but Dishonored (Which I've seen corrupted as well) doesn't seem to turn out well. Any tips for corrupting large games with Cheat Engine? Possibly a walk-through?

It takes a year or so to develop a triple A game, and it takes a day to break it into a corrupted mess.

Just delete one of the necessary files in its directory and you get a corrupted game?

Or open the exe in notepad++ and write gibberish -> corrupted game?

I don't think you need a walkthrough for this

I don't see any good purpose for doing this. If for learning, there are better alternatives.

probably he meant something similar to

But, doing this for PC games probably will lead to CtD.

I guess people can be fascinated by anything these days. Anyway, I could probably write a book about how to screw things up with CE.
