|
|
If I check the Kernel Routine:
Query memory region routines
I get the following error:
Scan error:controller:No readable memory found
However, if I uncheck that option, everything seems to run smoothly.
DBVM is working (all green when click on the line in about window)
This problem just started after upgrading to 6.6.
PS this is not specific to a one opened process. This result returns with any process tried.

So I am guessing that means there is some problem with the dkb64.sys interaction?
I tried on both 32 and 64 bit and gives the same responses. However, again if unchecked to use the normal Query Memory regions, everything runs perfectly.

Yes windows 10.
I did not have this issue with 6.5. I may re-install 6.5 and see if the problem comes back.
Its not a high priority item since everything is working fine without the kernel routines.

Really, you didn't have that issue with 6.5 on windows 10?
As far as I know 6.5 should BSOD you the instant you look at memory in windows 10 if you have the anniversary update

I did update to the latest version also when I updated to 6.6. Figures my luck that is what broke.
If 6.6 is not ready for windows anniversary update, just let me know if possible and you can lock this thread.
However, if 6.6 is working fine on windows 10 anniversary update, then I have some other bug/problem and maybe we can resolve it.

6.6 works slightly better in winX AU, as it won't bsod you upon targeting a process, but scanning is still an issue (i'll fix it but will take some time as windows refuses to build a debug log in this case)
try this plugin instead of kernelmode querry memory regions
