|
|
Okay. These are the steps I'm taking with the trainer I made:
1. Run trainer.
2. Run Game.
3. Press Hotkey
The problem is #3. When I press the hotkey, the text doesn't change color, and instead of the "Activate" sound, I hear the "Deactivate" sound. I even tried waiting for a bit. That text never changed color.
I know that the cheat I'm working with HAS to be good because when I inject the assembly code from the assembly editor itself, it works perfectly.
I'm on the latest version of CE. I've tried hundreds of times to get the trainer to work using the "Generate generic trainer lua script from table" option. I've tried just about anything I can think of, and this problem doesn't seem to want to be solved. I searched for similar topics and tried the suggestions there, but no solution has been found.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'm kinda at the end of my rope. Thank you.

Close CE while you're running your trainer

Thanks, STN. I'd been doing that. Just to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything, I checked the task manager to make sure there weren't any lingering CE processes. There weren't any lingering CE processes.
CE has been closed, and I still experience the same problem.

Maybe change your hotkey interval, just in case it's being sent multiple times. If that doesn't work, try opening the game first, then the trainer. Also, make sure that you are running the trainer as admin and that no other 3rd-party software is interfering.

Thanks, ++Methos.
I tried those things, but the problem persists. I even turned off my anti-virus while running both the game and the trainer as administrator.
I really don't understand what's going on here.

I have some time. Grab a free copy of teamviewer, if you want, and I'll take a look at it.

Thanks, Pinpoint.
It is in the table as a script. I injected it to make sure that both sections work (ENABLE and DISABLE). I don't get any errors when I inject, so I dunno if that's good or bad.
Would having portions of the assembly code commented out negatively affect its ability to be enabled via the trainer?
So, for example, the original code made it so that Player 2 could be Killed with one hit. I commented out a section that prevented the same thing from happening to player 1. Once injected, both players are able to be 1-hit-killed. It seems to have worked perfectly, and no errors popped up.
After putting it in the table, I'm able to enable it and disable it by clicking the checkbox with no issues. I just can't seem to activate and deactivate it by using the trainer.

save your trainer just a a .CT so you can see the cheat table state.
Also, never give your trainer .EXE the same name as the process you're opening.

Thanks, Dark Byte.
I saved the trainer as a .CT and I have attached it.
It's supposed to be a trainer for Street Fighter V that allows both players to be 1-hit-killed (like the game Divekick). I modified the initial script which was used to make unlocking colors easier.
I'm hoping that getting more eyes on this will help explain why I can't get the trainer executable to work.

I thought SFV detects CE? What are you doing to circumvent the anti-cheat?

I use the VEH debugger, and always connect CE to the topmost Street Fighter V process.
If I do anything else out of the ordinary, I don't remember it.

Thanks, ++Methos.
I still experience the same problem: Deactivate sound when I press the hotkey (F5) and the text won't turn red.
I checked the script for alterations and noticed that there are a couple of extra lines that look like they're supposed to set a caption somewhere. I'm not really a coder, so I have no idea what those two lines are supposed to do.
