If you like, I can grab a copy of the game when I have time and check things out on my end to see if I experience the same problems. I am also running Win7 x64. |
Precisely. Metro 2033 Redux is an 'old' game (pulled it out again).

You click and nothing.
I get that all the time, not just with CE
Uninstall and reinstall again.
Right-click and run as admin.
Check that the EXE is there and it shows up in task manager as a process when you start it (and not removed/blocked by some protection app silently).
What OS and what build?

If anyone is interested, I am using a program called WindowManager that seems to be doing the job well on win7 x64.

A bug.
Code: | function luapluginname_OnSelectionChange(sender,a1,a2)
luapluginname_address1 = a1
luapluginname_address2 = a2
print(a1,a2)
end
mv = getMemoryViewForm()
dv = mv.DisassemblerView
dv.OnSelectionChange = luapluginname_OnSelectionChange -- set |
Doesn't work.
Also, executing this returns nil.
Code: |
function luapluginname_OnSelectionChange(sender,a1,a2)
luapluginname_address1 = a1
luapluginname_address2 = a2
print(a1,a2)
end
dv=getMemoryViewForm().DisassemblerView
disassemblerview_onSelectionChange(dv,luapluginname_OnSelectionChange)
return dv.OnSelectionChange --get |
Setting or getting OnSelectionChange property doesn't work.

Just download the latest version on CEs main page. The installer version should be 6.5.0.3 ...

Hmm. It seems I was running an older version, unknowingly.
Thanks.

I think there is a bug in scanning with value type float.
When using scan type increased value by or decreased value by in value type float, no matter what values are entered, next scan erroneously gives "unchanged" results only, with supposed correctly addresses removed. (Other value types like 4 Bytes works correctly though.)
Such problem can be reproduced in tutorial step 4.
Such problem does NOT exist in CE 6.4.
