Hey guys, thanks for all the help you gave me before at Godhand, it's thanks to you I was able to swap the fighting style of the characters, and thanks to that knowledge I've made fighting style swap in a good number of fighting games!
But today I was trying to do that in Gachitora, this game is really nice, there are tons of special moves and animations for each character, but sadly you can play just as one of them, so I wanted to or swap the mesh or swap the fighting style of my character.
Thanks to Rydian's epic advice, I was able to find and swap the mesh and animation of my character, it was really easy, I wish I could show you an image but I can't post url.
The mesh is separated in 3 parts, body head and hair, but here's the weird problem!
When I swap the value of each part, the animation comes along with each part as well, so if I swap just the hair, the entire body will move like player 1, but the hair will move as the player 2 decide.
Also, when I swap these values in fight against other characters, it crashes the game.
I've tried analyzing all the similar structures around the HP values of the characters, I've found an address that let me move the player 2, but I didn't find anything that could let me separate the fighting style and the mesh.
I got some opcodes that writes the values of the npc's mesh in the loading before my fight:
0073AAF0 - 0F29 01 - movaps [rcx],xmm0
0F265ECA - 42 89 84 03 00 - move [rbx+r8+00],esi
But I'll be honest, I have no idea what it means hahaha
Is it possible to use that to reach another level of structures to analyze? So maybe I can find the address that decided what's tit and what's tat and make tit become tat.
