Weird, iirc pcsx2 and ppsspp doesn't use DMA, i did found an address for something for those emulator using simple scan (4 Byte mostly, some old games might store it in 2 byte for whatever reason), save it and the next time i load the game address still points to the same value

the problem might be with updating pcsx2 / ppsspp version, i remember i have to rescan for values whenever i update mine (not sure if offsets are also changed. i never do pointer scan for those emulator since their values are actually static)

but if you don't update it, whatever address you got should always usable, at the very least my version of pcsx2 / ppsspp works like that (i think it still works like that a bit past version 1.x , haven't update those in a long time)

Look at your Min or Max HP value in your game (for example 50HP).
In Cheat Engine, under Value: type in 50.
Click, First Scan or New Scan which is the same button.
On the left side, you'll notice addresses and values.
For Min HP, try getting hit and lose some HP (for example taking 5 dmg)
Your new Min HP is now 45HP.
Back to your Cheat Engine, under Value: delete the 50 and type 45 and Click on Next Scan.
On the left side, you'll notice addresses and values being sorted.
Go back and repeat until you only see 1~4 addresses, highlight, "drag and drop" them to the bottom blank area where it says Active/Description/Address/and so on...
Double Click the address under Value column and change the Value to whatever you want.
If you want Max HP, then do the same thing as above, but instead of getting hit, level up and see your MaxHP change in game and then do the steps.
