Cheat Engine

So I'm playing a game called Genius of Sappherios. The game is an RPG Maker game I'm pretty sure.
I want to change the amount of exp I get per battle
So when I go and scan for the code after each battle, I scan and scan. Until I find 4 values that are the same as the values for the battle exp, but always reset to 0 when the battle screen is exited. If I freeze them at higher values, the original amount of EXP I would've gotten goes through, not the one I put in through CE.
Help please?

This does not help me at all.
What is here is not what I need.

It was written for an RPG maker vx ace game, so you might have to adapt if your game was written in another rpgmaker edition. AFAIK vx ace cannot edit a game made with another edition even if you generate the .rvproj2 file.
