Hi,
I have a flash simulator which I want to speed hack because I need to get data out of the simulator fast. It is an offline exe file.
I tried the speedhack option on the right of CE but it doesn't seem to work. When I set it to 0, the game stops. When I set it to 0.1 it runs super slow, but 1, 10, 100, or anything greater than 1 is pretty much the same as 1.
I tried 32bit and 64bit versions of CE (found it mentioned in another post)
The simulator was created in Macromedia Director 8.5 from 2001 (if it helps)
Been trying to get data from it for a week now |

Maybe your computer just can't run it faster. Speedhack can't make your computer faster. Even if you set it to 10x speed, it will go only as fast as your PC can handle it. _________________

I doubt that's the case.
As I had mentioned, it was made in Director 8.5 and the specs to run this program is : 64mb ram and pentium 2. I have an i7 with 16gb ram.
The program takes < 5% of my cpu and some 20mb ram
Also, in the documentation it is clearly mentioned that the code has a delay of 1/60th of a second so the changes are easily visible by the user.
Can you suggest a test I can confirm whether my computer is capable or not ? |
