Cheat Engine

tl;dr I want to set a hotkey in-game to toggle speedhack. Only works for me when I'm on the cheat engine window.

Hello. I looked around to see if you could set a certain key to toggle/set speedhack, but everyone has always pointed to the hotkey menu. For some reason, it only seems to work when I'm on the cheatengine window. Is there a way to make it so I can just press a button in-game to enable/disable it? I ran across forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=538178 but I wasn't sure how to change it to a different key...Would this work in-game though? I won't be home until later tonight to test it out.

P.S. Do you always have to press "apply" assuming you only want to use the toggle function (i.e. I don't want to press 2 buttons to switch between 2.0x speed and regular speed).

Try holding the hotkey a bit longer when you're inside the game. It sometimes takes a bit longer for ce to see keypresses when a game is using a lot of cpu power

The toggle speedhack currenty doesn't work(properly. It toggles it, but sets it to 1.0). For now set one key to a speed of 1.0 and the other one to the speed you wish (or use a lua script)
