|
|
Hello, I have a problem. I saved some scan results in CE 6.3, and closed CE, thinking (mistakenly) that I could load them during a later session. Now I'm at a loss, because 2+ hours of scans are most likely lost, unless there's a way to remedy this that I don't know about. The scan results are still saved in the TEMP folder, but it doesn't show up in the 'Compare to saved scan' list, and the 'Compare to saved scan' option only appears if I save another (unrelated) scan. I tried moving the results to the current session's folder, but it still doesn't show up. I really don't want to spend another 2+ hours searching for the address I need, so can anyone help?

copy your scanresults to a safe location (CE will eventually delete them for you if they stay there)
Start a new scan and do at least one next scan
now press ctrl+alt+shift+L to open the lua engine window and paste in this code: (and execute it)
Code: |
ms=getCurrentMemscan()
ms.FoundList.deinitialize()
if ms.ScanresultFolder~=nil then --not sure if CE 6.3 has this thing
print("Current scanfolder="..ms.ScanresultFolder)
else
print("Find the current scanfolder yourself")
end
|
Now copy the saved results to the current scanfolder
when done, execute:
Code: |
ms=getCurrentMemscan()
ms.FoundList.initialize()

The only files I kept were 'Addresses.TMP', 'Memory.TMP', 'Addresses.Scanresult 16', and 'Memory.Scanresult 16', and replacing them results in a 'CE Error:## - Access Violation on every line. Did I need to keep the entire folder, or just the last 2 files?

Try a next scan after loading the results. (Also try to skip the last script and just click next scan)
Assuming you know what kind of scan comes next
Oh, you missed the previous scan results. Rightclick the addresslist and disable the option to show the previous value

Well that worked. Thanks a lot! Now I won't need another 2+ tiresome hours of searching. I got to the same place in-game, then searched for Unchanged value after following your steps. Thank you so much! If I could, I'd give you a million +1's.
