Hey everybody,

I'm new at the forum, gamehacking and all the the kind of stuff.
But I wanted to help out a bit.

How do you want to help?

I want to write a german translation for Cheat Engine.
Or should I say I started to write a german translation for Cheat Engine ^^

Why do you want to help?

Because I only found a Theard where someone started one but never finished it since 6 years. I also want to help some german guys who had or will have a hard time understanding some things.

How long will it take?

Long... Or should I say some time because there is so many stuff i'll need to translate BUT I can promise that I will finish the translation. I'll also make sure that I'll spent at least one hour per day in the translation.

The progress will be always postet here.

On hold from my side because I'm very ill at the moment.

Just a suggestion , for which I don't know it'll work, but aren't there services (e.g google docs) that let you work on the same file simultaneous and instantly see what the other person has changed ?

Could be that only works with special .doc files, but I guess you could copy/paste raw text into and out of that

Since you're dutch you might know a few german words, so here in Germany we use 2 different styles when talking to a person. If we don't know a person we usually stick to a more formal kind of conversation ("you" = "Sie") and if you know a person well you usually use a more slacky conversation kind ("you" = "Du").

Which kind of conversation should we stick to when translating, since there are a couple of sentences containing "you"? Slacky or formal?

I really have no preference. Just pick one you think fits best (which is why i like English so i don't have to worry about that)

The general audience consists out of gamers so i guess one that fits them best

In my opinion, the slacky form fits pretty good, so I would stick to this.
