I implement debugger_onBreakpont() very similar to how DarkByte suggests here: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=532964&sid=07595b22bfc89fe675bfdf419c51e408 and it works as expected. However, this seems to start up the entire CE debugger (stack + register tracing, etc etc), whereas when you just use the CE MemoryViewer GUI and right click>'Change register at this location' and set an address in EIP, it only applies a simple breakpoint and then moves the EIP register to the specified address.
The result is that when I use the former method (with LUA) it is almost an order of magnitude slower, and the game stutters quite noticeably. Is there anyway to make this faster like the manual GUI method?
(on CE 6.4, using VEH debugger)
