Cheat Engine

Dear Dark Byte,

I'm families with CE since early version 5 and i never faced any real issue with it and always find something to go around any issues inside it however this time i'm running out of options

I had CE working fine on my old computer with Windows 7 64bit, however i can't figure it our why it's not on Windows 8.1

i'm always getting the same error type:

DBK32.DLL Error

The driver couldn't be opened! It's not loaded or not responding. I recommend to reboot your system and try again (If you're on 64-bit windows, you might want to use dbvm)

What i have done ?

1) Download the latest CE 6.4
2) Disable sign driver enforcement by windows
3) I tried to download both the unsigned dbk32.sys and dbk64.sys and placed them in CE installation folder
4) Disabled antivirus completely
5) I tried to open cheatengine-i386.exe instead of 64 bit

And still can't to make it work ! I checked that there isnt any VM application (Hyber-V Not installed / Teamviewer Deleted / VMware uninstalled)

and i'm still facing the same freaken error !

Since i have the M$ DebugView, i check what could be wrong and i end up with :

As i can see that the Symbol loader thread has finished without errors !

Any other suggest i should do ?

run the kernelmodule unloader, reboot and run the unloader again
if you don't want to edit the cheat engine exe, the just reinstall ce

I did:
1) kernelmodule unloader
2) reboot
3) kernelmodule unloader again
4) uninstall
5) reboot
6) install
7) kernelmodule unloader as last time

Same error when it start =\

what do you mean by edit the cheat engine exe ?

the driver will refuse to respond when the. exe file has been changed. (e. g self compiled or edited with an hex edited, or virus that infects .exe files)
also if you just rename the .exe and not the .sig it won't respond

I have done neither of all of the above ! No rename, no hex editing, no virus as i have re-download it agian and the certificate the same name as the exe
