I am searching for a way to permanently stop the power bar in my game from increasing, furthermore I have studied the tutorial and understand a little bit, but the tuts say nothing if the value is as follows
8 004A9C9C - 01 48 08 - add [eax+08],ecx
8 004A9CA4 - 8B 50 08 - mov edx,[eax+08]
(the far left is how many times this code was called)
every time I disable a building or enable the far left value goes up but none of the code actually changes, would anyone mind shedding some foresight on how I would actually write this into an AA script...

First code is writing to your value, add ecx to your value.
The second code is reading it to make whatever calculations it needs to do.
If you want to stop the value from increasing, just nop the first code (aka replace it with a code that does nothing).

Thank you that was it I kept trying to add it's self to the equation
add [eax+08],ecx ----> add [eax+08], eax
Well here's to learning something new everyday...
