Trying it now. Downloaded it. Going to follow online instructions and see if it works. If not....What else would work.....Maybe I could fine an old windows 95 computer or maybe a 486MHZ computer would do the trick. LOL. Very Happy

Your problem is solved:
download the last version of dxwnd (20.3.22 at the moment)
dune 2000 is supported, so use the suggested parameters.
Run dune2000.exe from Dxwnd gui, and your game will run in windowed mode.

Verified on win 8.1 64 bit

OK I downloaded the latest version.
I saw 2 dune 2000 games (not emulated) and dune 2000. I used both of them and still cannot go from game to CE or fusion trainer or anything else. I can go to them. Do what I need to do. But when going back to the game.... Well, the graphics are still messed up. I am following the instructions, Sad

. Sorry. It is just not working. Maybe it is just my laptop doing this to me. I tell my wife that this laptop hates me.

Thank you for trying, I do truly appreciate it.
I am using version 1.02 on dune 2000. Maybe if I try to get a 1.06 version somewhere it will work.
Gonna look for one.

Please, supposing you have the game installed in:
"d:\dune 2000" , please control the parameter in dxwnd appears "EXACTLY" like this screen, then come back to dxwnd and the icon of dune have to be green, so run it double clicking on it.

Thank you very much. I recognized the problem I was having. I was placing the .EXE file where the .DAT file was supposed to go. THank you so much. I am able to flip between windows now. So awesome. And I did not have to upgrade to 1.06 either. Thank you so much. I really do appreciate your assistance. And to all the Cheat Engine people here.
