ok today, I just got a new laptop and I'm back ready to program with C++. What I'm over here to find out is which "IDE" do you prefer which one you thing is better, to me I think visualC++2008 is better to me. So I just want to found out which one do you guy use 2010 or 2008 and why.

Get 2010, you have no reason not to. 2008 and below do not have any of the C++11 standards built in at all either. 2010 has minimal support and 2011 will have full support once it is fully released and such. (Currently in developer preview and the support is fairly decent so far.)
If you are taking C++ seriously, then you have no reason to use old technology and old syntax. Keep up with the standards and keep up with tools. _________________
