I'm working with NR2003.
I have found the address that i need to change. Some of the game settings works off of a simple *.ini file.
e.g.

track_grip = 1.25

i find the address for 1.25..
goto the ini file and change it to 2.134 and search for that.. the value in CE changes to said number. So im 99% sure it's the right address.

now, if I don't go to the .ini file and change the value myself. and try to change the value in CE, nothing happens in the game. CE shows the value change, but there is no difference in the game.

Is there something i'm missing?

Do you restart the programm when you change the *.ini?

make sure you don't search for the values using text but actually float or double

I dont restart the program, I just back out of the race, which unloads the *.ini and change the values on the ini file, go back into the track and the settings are of the new value.

I am searching for both float and double. I have them both in the table.. either one i change will actually change the value, and CE shows that the value is stuck.. but, There is no actually change inside the game.

try using a float or double scan.

I find the exact value under a float scan. but when i change it. Nothing in the game is effected.

on another note. i find 2 value addresses that change with the *.ini setting every time.. I try changing both of them. and still get nothing.

Am i looking for a pointer?
