I'm currently running OS Windows Vista RC1 build 5600.
Cheat engine does not recognize this version of windows (thinks it's older than win 9 and can't run the kernel debugger because of this. Please release a Vista compatible Cheat engine! |

Try with compatibility mode to xp sp2 (and set the run as admin flag)
of course, if it's the 64-bit version you can forget about it, won't be supported _________________

Why wouldn't it be supported? I thought you can change something in CE to change bits to 64 |

for 64 bit the driver has to be signed(costs money) , and you can't edit the kernel. (if you do windows detects it and kills you)
so stuff like the kerneldebugger will not work on vista 64 _________________

I could be wrong but I've heard of some existences that you could allow unsigned drivers to run on 64bit versions. In other words, disabling the driver signature. To do that, disable the function in the boot menu or use a program that does the job. This program http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo is one example. |
