lol. If I can gather this correctly fullyawesome is saying
First scan: "Unkown initial value"
Then: "Unchanged value"
Then attack, and in mid attack: "Changed value"
(I'd say perform a long attack)
Then when you stop attacking: "Changed value"
Then: "Unchanged value"
and so on...
At least I THINK thats what he ment
He meant the cancellation of attack animation.
for example if an attack animation has 7 frames, everytime the player execute another attack it cancels the succeeding frames and perform another attack which results the attack animation frames resets to frame 1. In short the frames serves as the delay to perform another attack
