I saved my progress hacking a game multiple times, but I lost all the progress because after restarting the PC the file became a 1kb file that looked in notepad++ contains nothing anymore, only the structures from dissect data structures. So I redid the work, saved last night, today i worked on it again, saved, closed PC, reopened and poof, 1kb again.I really don't know how to get it back because i have put a lot of time into it. Last thing even though now it is 1kb the save date corresponds to the last time i saved before closing, pls help!!

What does the table you saved contain?
Only addresses? Lua script? asm script?

A completely empty table saved looks like 140 bytes.
There must be something in a 1kb CT table.

1) If you still have doubts; Right-click on the CE desktop icon, select "Open file location" from the menu and run "ceregreset.exe" from the CE folder and try recording again.

2) Try doing a clean CE installation again. Possibly some additional files in "autorun" may be affecting it.

3) Save your table. Close the current table and open the table you saved.
If it is still as you saved it; It's possible that your antivirus program may be affecting the content after the PC is restarted.

The most definitive solution; Rule number 2 is to turn off your antivirus program and after installing the program, register the CE to the "Windows Firewall" and put it in the unblocked working list.

Maybe you're not saving the file where you think you are. Try "save as..." instead of "save"

Thank you! But is there a way to retrieve my progress?beacuse i tryed to restore the PC to an earlier date but it doesn't affect files.

If you are not talking about restoring a file you deleted;

I may have a suggestion for your files that have changed recently.
This way, you will know if there has been a change in the folder you suspect in the list.

Open a folder. Click on the "search" box in the top right.
"Search Tools" opens in the folder menu.
"All subfolders" should be selected.
Select a date from the "Date modified" drop-down menu.
Examine any suspicious files and folders listed below.

This may give you some clues.
