Can't figure out how to add cash and gold in CSR Classics

I want to get more cash and gold to get around the slow progression and the fact that cars only purchasable with gold are impossible to obtain, but I can't figure out the addresses to add more money. When I try, the game just puts the cash or gold value right back down to what it was before. I'm running the latest 3.1.1 version on BlueStacks Android 9

update: just uninstalled bluestacks cus it's taking up way too much hard drive space, but it'd still be useful information for some other android emulator

Look for the lifetime cash instead of the display cash Its accessible from the main menu. Screen Its the same for csr csr classic and csr2.
