Speaking for a friend because their English is limited.
Issue: PPSSPP Ver 0.9.9.1 crashes when you change and/or freeze a value via Cheat Engine.
This happens both for CE 6.6 and CE 6.7.
My friend is using Windows 10 Home. They tried unchecking the MEM_MAPPED memory regions in the Scan Settings, as suggested in a forum topic from just over a year ago, but doing this meant that the game values could not be found at all (at least those relevant to health, zone teleportation etc).
I have guided my friend through the settings, but what works for me on Windows 8.1 doesn't work for him on Windows 10 Home.
Are there any solutions that do not involve changing to a different OS?
dbk_initialize()
dbk_useKernelmodeOpenProcess()
dbk_useKernelmodeProcessMemoryAccess()
if (getOpenedProcessID()~=0) then
openProcess(getOpenedProcessID())
end
dbk_writesIgnoreWriteProtection(true)
(6.7, not 6.6) _________________
