Hey everyone. I try not to post and ask really stupid questions, but I'm having some issues with the new Star Ocean: The Last Hope game that came out on Steam today. Anytime I try to do a search for any value I get the following error:
Scan error:thread 7:Access violation
I'm not sure if they locked this game down somehow, or if I've screwed up.
I am using Cheat Engine 6.7. I've tried rebooting my computer, setting "All Application Packages" in the Security folder of the Cheat Engine 6.7 directory, and I've tried changing the Scan Settings to store the temporary scanfiles in my HDD which has over 300 GB of free space.
Does anyone have any advice, or has this game just been locked down from using Cheat Engine?

| I got the answer over on the fearlessrevolution site. Apparently Star Ocean The Last Hope for Steam requires you to go into the Cheat Engine settings, select the Extra section, and enable the Kernel mode. I've never had to do this with any other game, but doing this lets Cheat Engine work without giving the Access Violation error.

that's cool, maybe everyone gets this error should try what you did.
many users posts about issue with this error.
