|

Hello everyone!
So, over these past months a new little game called Lobotomy Corporation has been in development and has piqued my interest.
Yesterday I began playing, and managing to hack the currency to be able to hire more employees was quite simple. However, I noticed that, the longer they remain alive the better their stats get.
I thought on hacking those stats too. The problem is, that, well. The game eluded me. I am just good enough to make a few edits to the 4byte address, not anything too advanced.
And now here I am, wondering if there is anyone that has the game and has figured out how to edit the employee stats value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

like what? they die when they get old? or when their health reachs 'zero'
so if you cant modify stats, then try to modify age and health if they do exist.
just always dont see things from one side, think about anything related to it anything that might lead you to it.
for example if i cant hack my clip ammo, then ill try to hack pocket ammo or remaining ammo.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was a little vague regarding the stats of the employees; let me clarify that.
Since the game is a monster management simulator, your staff gets progressively better at certain tasks as they accrue experience that eventually gets reflected in a certain skill boost. For example, if they visit a certain monster enough times they get stronger; if they perform other tasks they might become faster at working.
The issue, is that this takes forever. To reach a level up (without paying up) you're looking at a good 1-2 hours of playing; and once you cap at level 5 the only way to increase the stats is by doing tedious grinding work that, at most, gives you a +1 increase in a specific area after a game day (Around 5 minutes or so, depending on your luck and your staff)
I tried doing a search for the values by updating cheat engine every time I got a specific attribute leveled up. This, as I said, was unsuccessful.
Any idea on how to find those addresses?

well, i cant be useful but you might want to try other data types.
ignore 4 bytes and go for 1 byte.

I've already tried said approach. I even used the ALL option during the scan for nil results; those values are simply too hard to find.
Thanks for the interest though

np, but keep in mind that it doesnt matter to be exact value.
there is many possibilities to list here, but here is two:
- display value 10, internal value 1000.
- the skill value might have a cap like 100, you start with 10 which is 0.1 float for example when you gain more skills or improved skills or whatever crap in that game is increased from 10 to 20 (display), then you might find it in memory as a float 0.2 and so on until it reach 1.0 float which is 100 as display value.
you never know how they designed and managed things in game, you have to try a lot and experimenting / guessing a lot too.
so it can be any value, you must try everything you get.

Actually, I just managed to edit an employee by sheer luck. I gave him around 32k health, but I forgot to upgrade his skills and I had to restart the game.
However, now that I try the same approach it just won't work. I know for a fact that I scanned using the 2 byte configuration and I got a result. But now, I try to repeat the process with nil results.
Any guesses why?
