Hi! I have some troubles with finding the pointer of a dynamic address... I get 6281375 pointers of the adress... I closed the game and reescanned very times, and I sill get the same count.
What Im doing wrong??

Try rescanning in a new level or something, or on a different computer or with a different save.

Also if the pointers work, just use one of them until it breaks, then rescan.

I have similar problem. Are there any advanced techniques to deal with it? I want to read data for Lineage 2, and the amount of pointers there is overwhelming.

One of the pointers I was able to reduce from millions to 22. Then after few restarts there were only 4. Next day only 1. Hope it it the right one.

But I have another pointer that starts with hundreds of millions of pointers and after 3 restarts it was 2000+. It didnt get less, after 2 more. How can I deal with 2000? Are there any automations or some features to cope with such amounts of data? I am not able to physically click 2000 pointers to address list, and then do 100 restarts (possibly with machine restart included) to get one value... And I need some more values, that are not as clear as the integer I am dealing with now...

Or maybe there is some database of pointer maps that others have found? Any help appreciated.

what about getting 2.5+ billions and drop them to 1000-
sorry for this tho

anyway,wether you got 2000 pointers after rescanning or 10000.
many games nowadays have more than tens thousands of solid pointers, specially the big games.

for small games, you might end up with 10000+ solid pointers.

so just pick a pointer and be happy with it, there is no need to filter the list to 10 results.
even tho its not possible, unless the game is small as this .

Sorry, but I am only second day playing with CE and memory addresses. I do not know how many pointers is an issue. Just sorted out getting dll mem address. It was changing time to time and breaking my app.

So I am living happily with my 4 pointers for Max Hp value.

Next is HP...

Solid pointers means they are all going to work infinitely?

So what you are suggesting, is take one of those 2000 and try. If it doesn't work after restart, pick another one? But then I am not sure if it will work after a week? I assume it will take days to get single value from 2000, that doesn't change... ever!
3 of 4 pointers I had, have stopped working in the morning, and after reboot, they were all working again (in CE). Got me even more confused...

Honestly, I do not know what to expect from them, acting so randomly.

yes i mean with solid pointers that they will be valid forever.

if you have a high-end pc, you can generate two pointer scans with two pointer maps and compare them against each other from advanced pointer menu.

but make sure to reboot before doing the second one, it will take time but its hundred percent guaranteed.
