Is it me or if I change GPU pointers dont work?

Two weeks ago I fried my GPU.
I have an integrated card. I tried my table with the same GAME/SAME Upadate but I noticed most of my POINTERS do not work anymore.
Is it that the GPU has just 1GB ram instead of 3GBs


Game in mention is Dark Souls 3.

are they pointers you found or other people?

It's possible that some of the pointers the pointerscan goes through are related to gpu memory. (even the gpu name could have been used as a pointer if it pointed to valid memory by accident)

that's why you should always try to get scandata files from other people as well.
even if they don't have addresses themselves, they can still be used to filter out paths that don't exist on other systems

Its a community table. Most stuff - public. So yes.
I also am thinking of the GPU related stuff. This happens for a first time with me. And it gives me a bug in my head that my work may not work on cards lower than 3gb etc.

You are right. Probably those pointers use GPU data as a base. and Since we lack that (Not enough GPURAM) they may not work.

Thanks . I needed my theory confirmed. That tells me that stuff may not always work even if GAME version is same but it also depends on the PC Configuration the user is running which is why some people may get ODD stuff when using tables.

Thats intresting this may explain why some of yhe pointers for scarface the world is yours dident work win i downloaded the table off these fourms.
