I was trying to cheat on Warcraft 2 in DOSBox, and found the address for gold. Wanting to find a pointer, I tried to find what accessed that address. This got me the following line:
mov eax,[eax+ecx]

CE suggested searching for 100D21DC. Searching for that got nothing. Checking a couple other possibilities, I found the following:
mov ebp,[eax+ecx]

CE suggested searching for FAE79020. I found this at a couple addresses. Checking one, putting in 10021DC as the offset. This gets a value of 10AF4B1FC. The problem is that the address of the gold is 0AF4B1FC. Any idea how to get CE to point to the correct address? And would it work permanently?
