i just started using cheat engine a few days ago, and im unsure where to start. my goal is to add characters to my party and have certain items, in grandia 3. where do i start? im unsure how to find the values and am having trouble finding a good guide about this. ive done the tutorial that comes with ce up to 6.

Start scanning methodically based on pertinent actions in the game (e.g. switching characters or items) and hope you find something interesting.

In the more than likely case you don't find anything simple, learn about how programs work. The emulator I assume you're using would be a good place to start.
