|
|
I'm trying to add little icon image for my buttons but don't know how to bring the image object on top, looking in main.lua it seems zOrder is what I want but not quite sure how to use it. Is there an option to change this property in the object inspector?

in the formdesigner you can rightclick in the object tree to bring it to front
with code there is currently nothing for it yet, but the last created object is always on top, so you could try to work with that

Yeah I tried using the bring to front & send to back options last night but it didn't work for my images. Just tried it now with other objects and it does work, and making them in order works too but only for other objects, not images.
No matter what I do it just doesn't seem to want to go on top :/

Is the image by any chance inside another object ? (E.g panel)
If so, change the zorder of the panel instead
(And if not, put it in a panel and change the zorder of that)

Nope it was just on the form itself, but thanks for the panel idea I ended up just putting my image on there and placing it on top of the button, looks a bit weird but it works

the panel has by default bevelOuter set as bvRaised. Just set it to bvNone and it won't be visible
