I want to rotate the left stick orientation dynamically, for instance at 90 degrees rotation right becomes up, up becomes left, and so forth, but I want to change the angle arbitrarily and in realtime. Can this be done?

Really, all I'm asking is if I can read the position of the analog stick, and then send something different to the game. The other details I can handle myself.

Yes, the controller/software sends input to the windows api for the game to receive, you would need to intercept that input and make your modification there. I don't know how to do it in lua, but I have used autoit to intercept api calls before. I'm sure lua can do it within CE if you google around.

I've been googling around, and so far I'm coming up dry. Thanks for the pointer to autoit, though, I'll check into that.
