|

Well, what I'm trying to do is to make in C++ a dll which, after injected, listens for two hotkeys: one to save the current position, one to teleport to the last saved position one.
Everything works, BUT: sometimes I get teleported, sometimes not (it teleports anyway but the player goes back to his position after 1 second.).
So, 3 times the player is able to teleport itself, 2 times he is not.
Yes, it's an online game but I don't think it's serversided. I can perfectly change the coordinates from Cheat Engine too.
I accept any advices;
cheers and thanks in advance;
itsoqrappy.

If your player is returning to the original location, then you're probably using the wrong coordinate addresses. That, or something to do with the server.
I would check to see if there are better coordinate values to work with. You can check this by performing simple tests:
1. When you freeze the x coordinate (for example), you cannot move in that plane at all and there are no 'ghostly' effects (make sure freeze interval is set to 1 ms, to be sure).
2. You can teleport through objects without your character stopping mid-way or teleporting back.

The address is perfectly correct, XYZ. It's the original player base, I pointerscanned in an online match and I found just 1 working pointer using the automatic pointer scan.
Since every coordinate is +0x4/-0x4 then I found Y and Z.
replying to your questions:

what do you mean with ghostly effects? Btw exactly, when I freeze XYZ coordinates I can't move at all.

Which objects? Btw in the offline match I can teleport everywhere without any problem, in an online match yes. Still don't think it's a serverside problem, Idk.
And yes, I get teleported in that superdetermined xyz position. Also if I'm above an object.
Thanks in advance.

If you're only experiencing problems during online matches, then I think it's fair to say that it might be a problem with the server performing checks.
