How do I cheat?

I tried opening cheat engine 6.4 on windows 10 pro, got a pop up, you know the, do you really want to do this to me, that windows computers love to do, i click yes, and immediately it goes to Cheat Engine has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem.
Cheat Engine 6.4 and Cheat Engine 6.4 (64-bit) immediately stop working, and 32-bit nothing happens.
I installed as administrator, and run them as an admin, tried comparability mode for windows 7 (worked for me then) and still the problem persists.

I've tested on win10 pro and it works as expected.
Make sure you have no online games running and check your anti virus

I only have basic windows and malware-bytes free mode, disabled windows defender real-time protection, and malware-bytes doesnt have a real time protection for free.
I have steam, virtual clone drive, rivatuner, Nvidia Geforce and, MSI afterburner going. i have something for a webcam, tortoiseSVN, and akami net session going in my processes and i would guess they arent the ones doing it

Not sure if posted already somewhere else, neither wanting to create a new thread, but does DBVM still work on Win 10?
I used to test CE a little on Win 10, but not DBVM. I realized that it crashed/freezes a few times, when having a longer address list and scrolling around. Also, the textfield where you insert your value to scan for didn't changed it location as it did on Win 7, when I changed the size of the window. But this just occured "randomly"... I couldn't repeat this thing always...
Furthermore, scans were really slow/freezing CE, when I had my temporary scan directory on another harddrive not containing the OS and not being a SSD. Not sure if this comes with Win 10 or is also on Win 7.
