Cheat Engine

I have a galaxy S3 sprint phone, and since I have to "root" my phone to use this? how can I make that possible because I want to use cheat engine on the new fallout shelter game.

I tried using the First post .apk on my nexus 5, CM 12.1 phone. Didn't seem to work for fallout shelter. Scanned for a value and got nothing. Trying to switch back to the game fails as well.

Hi dark, i have try in my xiaomi mi4i (5.0.2, x64) but it doesn't work. i have try for first scan and i got some values, and then i try for next scan but always give me nothing value. i do the same for other games but still doesn't works for me.

I do have some fixes, but I decided to focus on a few other things first (debugger, disassembler, assembler, expanding that ce logo into a full interface with scanning and other stuff, ...)

I am loving this app, I can't believe you integrated it with the Android OS, I can't wait til I get my hands on the next version with a disassembler/debugger.

I have an issue, I seen it has the option for pointers but everytime I go through the process of finding a pointer I come up empty and it has no pointer scan option, I simply do a HEX search for the address I am wanting the pointer for and nothing (thats how its done on windows).. what am I doing wrong bud? hit me back and other than that.. everything is flawless

I use another scanner in the past, a feature that would be nice to see to be addressed, rather than look through the list of features.

Hello, CE is not working in my Xiaomi Mi4. Tried on different games such as Defenders: prime worlds, dungeon hunter 4 and some others... It is not working on all games or there is a problem with my phone? it is rooted.

If you get and compile the latest version of cheat engine and ceserver from the git, you can connect ce to your android device and do a pointerscan ,it will be slow to start as it has to send a full memory snapshot over wifi to ce, but after that it's the usual speed (the current build in this apk has an issue with modulename lookup)

Note though that pointers only work when the game uses JNI . If it's a pure java app it's not going to work

the git version also has debugging, but only assembling for a few ARM instructions (and no thumb assembler at all right now)
If you do need ARM assembling/disassembling, look into binutils for ARM to generate the bytes with AS/LD or disassemble with OBJDUMP (Something I've been playing with myself)

_StraBadI_ : set selinux to permissive, and make surr that you have no internet connection when you play those games. (and if they are things you have to pay for they are likely encrypted)
