In Age of Empires 2 I want to find the Civilization name.

Someone who has studied the data structure in the past, suggested that all variables are offsets of 4 (hex) from a base address and they are all float type.

For example if food = 0x0000 wood is 0x004 gold is 0x008 etc....

I found out that dark age, feudal age, castle age are also floats with 0 for dark age, 1 for feudal etc....

The problem with civilization name is that the value doesn't change inside the game.

Any suggestions of how to find this float?

I am suspecting that value 0 will be persians (example) value 1 will be byzantines etc....
