|
|
Quote: | I noticed AC4 is the first AC game where the Speedhack doesn't work.
Well, it works... but not really, it's hard to explain. It's like when you slow it down the game is locked to a fixed FPS. I use the speedhack for recording purposes, like slow motion effects or just to compensate for my lack of framerate/crap computer when recording and then sped up in editing to "normal" speeds.
The way AC4 is locked doesn't allow me that freedom. It comes out looking choppy. Is there a fix for this?
I know certain other games are like this as well but I'm not sure for what reason. It's kinda interesting because the AC series has never had this issue, not even AC3... which is basically the same engine so it's a curious problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated |
I've also had this problem with other games, like Far Cry 3.
I've been waiting for GTA 5 to come out on PC because I was so excited to use the Cheat Engine speed hack with it.
When 0.10 speed is applied to GTA 5, the framerate PLUMMETS, and the sound "chops" with it. Can't aim worth a damn, and gives you a nasty headache. 0.5 speed provides a less painful, but similar result.
My knowledge is.. well.. non-existent on the matter, I just bind 0.10 and 1 and have a blast. I made sure not to touch GTA 5 on consoles so I could experience it the first time, singleplayer campaign with the speed hack like I use in pretty much every singleplayer game these days (What can I say? I love it!)
I've had the same issue with GTA 5 as the quote above and I'm devastated; and can't find any help about this online! Does anyone know how I can make it work?
Thanks for your time. Will post a video of the issue if requested.

try lowering the graphical features.
and no vsync, gsync, freesync or whatever sync you use

Flicked off vysync from half to off.

Still a sound issue. Any ideas? I can definitely live with this, though.
EDIT:
Fixed.
So in sum:
Disable vsync.
Don't go slower than 0.3
