Hello , I'm trying to search for the address of a skill ( i know What I'm doing)

If the skill is in available to use then it's value is 0 , if it's on cool down then it's value is > 0 .

My point is , After i do the first scan with 0 value (4 Bytes) Cheat Engine lists the address like normal , Now i go use the skill then go fast to cheat engine to press "Next Scan button" with the scan type "Increased Value" but Cheat engine freezes completely for almost 10~15 seconds ( The game doesn't freeze at all) then resume the scan but after the waste of time therefore I can't find the address .

Q : Does the game use an anti-cheat system ?
A : yes , but i have completely disabled it and i have tried to scan using this method before and it worked.

Q : Did you try to re-install Cheat Engine ?
A : Yes , I have tried to re-install many times with even older version with no hope .

Q : What is your PC Specs ?
A : My PC specs are good that it's capable of running 2 Battle Field 4 Instances at the same time with 60 FPS . ( Short Answer ) If you want the long specs then reply to me .

Q : Did you try to re install windows ?
A : Yes I've re-installed windows and I have windows 7 64 bit Genuine.

Q : How much RAM do you have ?
A : I have 16 GB RAM DDR3 Kingston Hyper X Beast . 1600 HZ .

Q : Did you disable your anti-virus before scan ?
A : I don't have an anti-virus I have a Brain.exe + Sandboxie + OllyDbg.

Q : Did you change or increase the Scan Size buffer ?
A : I tried to increase it or return it to default with no hope .

pause the game before clicking next scan. There is a pause button in the advanced options window at the bottom left of the main ce window

The Game doesn't get paused at all unless the scan that runs after 10~15 sec Delay after the freeze ( starts ) then the game gets paused .

Otherwise all that time the cheat engine is frozen is a wasted time .

open the taskmanager and set cpu affinity to only 1 cpu
That should make sure the scan will have processed all the data by the time the next scan is starting

perhaps also disable the option to save undo states
