From some gunbound cheat engine hacking tut -
To make a 1 Hit KO Hack
You must:
1 Subtract 2BF2 (HEX) from the green wind address and add the new address as 24 Array.
2 Subtract 2392 (HEX) from the green wind address and add the new address as 16 Array.
3 Freeze the first address at "00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00"
4 Freeze the second address at "00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00"
wtf im i subtracting?
i've looked it up using google and its hexadecimal
so 2bf2 translates basically into 11250
so what im i subtracting this umm number from or to?
and where da hell im i supposed to even do this? In the address bar where you change values or?
is this all in assembler/dissassembler
seriously nothing is more aggravating then NOT understanding what another person is saying
what does 24 array even mean? or 16?
how im changing these arrays?
please if help me out my fellow hackers ( pictures would be more then welcome )
As far as I understand you need to do the following:
First of all find the green wind address or it is given somewhere in the tut. If you have the address, e.g. 0FB25334, you need to subtract the two hex values from it. Here it would be
0FB25334 - 2BF2 = 0FB22742 (add1)
0FB25334 - 2392 = 0FB22FA2 (add2)
Now you go to the CE main window and click "Add Address Manually". There you enter add1 and change the type to "Array of Bytes" with a length of 24. You do the same with add2, type "Array of Bytes" with a length of 16.
After adding them you see something like "12 13 23 AF 00 06 00 50 88 12 00 10 20 30 40 50" for add2 and change it all to blocks of "00" as stated in the tut. Now freeze it and you are done.

exactly what he said above. the 2BF2 and 2392 look like either offsets for a base pointer or simple offsets to a specified address. the 24 and 16 only signify how much (how long) of that address to add to the list. so 24 would be 24 bytes and 16 would be 16 bytes. if you count the groups of 0's, there should be 24 0's in the first set and 16 in the second. _________________
