How do you make a table that was made for a GoG verion of a game to work for the steam version of said game?

You need to update the table as if it were any other game that had a patch. |

this table was made for the gog version of the game. But the creator said there was a way to convert it to work for the steam version. But I have no idea how its why I asked how., |

how is that easy? all of it makes no sense to me. I thought it would be very easy to change said table to work for the steam version of the game. But look at that guide it looks very complicated. |

Check the script. It makes use of AOB's
does your game use the same exe name ?
If not, try changing that.
If the exe names are the same, and the script refuses to tick, then open an auto assembler script window, and paste in that script and execute to get a more detailed reason on why it fails.
then try to work around it (perhaps it's a feature you don't need) or you will have to use the debugger yourself to find the new address.
Anyhow, it's most likely a lot easier to get the GOG version (assuming GoG does provide a download for the unpatched version) _________________

Thank you. This helped me out greatly. I just had to change the aob option hgm.exe to game.exe to get it to work. Thanks again. |
