The game I've been getting at is Shantae: Risky's Revenge DX.
I have been editing a value involving Gems.
Now, when you input the number itself, you get a static value, which, if edited, reverts.
So I went into a hex editor and looked into my save. Apparently the gem count is attached to a byte for something else.
What I'm trying to say is that in the hex editor, I see E7 73. Note the extra 7 (involves another item).
As 0x3E7 is 999, I managed to edit the gem count, BUT what I'm trying to do is that I currently have two addresses in the list: the first byte is binary, 0->1, which is set to 3; the other is 1B, set to 231 (E7). I want to combine them, just seem not to know how.
Nevermind, got it. Just needed to edit an address, set the type to binary, and add more bits to the length. Work is here. |
