Just played it... whats the difference with CoD?

CoD doesn't have operable vehicles in multiplayer. Aside from the tanks in WaW.
CoD maps are tiny compared to Battlefield.
CoD doesn't have a destructible environment.
CoD has been using the same engine with little to no improvements since CoD 4.

CoD is still damn fun with friends so I won't badmouth it too much.
I'll admit that BF3 was a little disappointing (though still awesome) during the alpha. Downloading the beta right now, hopefully there's been some good changes.

Also other small things, like bipods, lens flare and if you look at somebody in the face with a red dot it will affect their vision. There's also the suppressing fire effect etc.
