Just some suggestions.

Creative Labs is another great brand.

Creative Labs A60 2.0 Speaker System

As for alternatives for Logitech:

Logitech X-140 2.0 Speakers

For the bottom two links below, I was wondering if they would work for

laptops because it doesn't say it for laptops and I don't really know if it

comes with a USB. . Thanks for the first link above, i'll think about buying

the product if you could answer my first question.

You are really better off with Creative shit if you are on a budget. IMO, having speakers for laptop really defeat the purpose of having a laptop, how about a pair of headphone?

I'm deciding to buy these speakers the "Logitech S220 2.1 Speaker System with Subwoofer", and I checked on new egg for a great price and it was 25$ + shipping. There are two wiring that must be plugged and where would I plug the pink plug on my laptop? I know where to plug the green one though but the pink is an extra?

I currently have these speakers for my desktop, and theyr really good. Obviously their not very portable, so just use these if your going to leave your laptop on a desk. & also the pink (mic) and the green (speakers) go in the mic&speaker slots in your laptop o_o

Oh lol. You have these speakers, I see.
Is the pink wiring (mic) needed?
